Pop TV with Stripgenerator and Video tool
Pop TV has launched its new show Big Brother and its online department introduced new Stripgenerator™ engine and a new video tool.
Big Brother, a hyper reality show, is new kid on Slovenian media market. Pop TV, brains behind it, also run an extremely serious online support for the show with interviews, comments, rating, well, everything to be honest. It also offers a special set of functions to its paid subscribers and two of them are the new Stripgenerator™ engine and Video Tool.
Stripgenerator™ engine runs the application they call Strip Kreator, and its running the latest version of this popular tool. The functionality is almost identical to the one on stripgenerator.com, but with changed interface and character/object library that was done from scratch by Žiga Aljaž. Non subscribers cannot access the creation part of the page, but they can easily access the galary. So far the traffic and success of the tool is tremendous for the slovenian market.
Video tool is a new tool, created as a proof of concept for 2006-ish Pop TV online greetings card, this time implemented as a community user generator tool that allows simple pre-set video clip montage. Usability around the flash backend is extremely well done: just drag and drop the chosen video clip on the timeline, add subtitles and at the end, export the whole movie as a file - new movie clip. Pop TV guys are providing new and fresh video clips every day (keep in mind it is just for Big Brother usage), so the tool is gaining heaps of ground lately. Again, only available to paid subsciber.
